Welcome to ArtYard. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Overview
ArtYard is a marketplace platform that connects college student artists with art buyers. We facilitate payments but do not handle physical artwork delivery.
1.1 Our Role
- Process payments securely through 2Checkout
- Provide a platform for artwork listings
- Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers
- Hold funds until transaction completion
1.2 What We Don't Do
- We do NOT handle shipping or delivery
- We are NOT responsible for artwork condition
- We do NOT guarantee delivery timeframes
2. Purchases & Payments
2.1 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed securely through 2Checkout
- Prices are listed in USD
- Platform fee: 10% of sale price
2.2 Shipping Arrangements
⚠️ Important: Shipping and delivery are arranged DIRECTLY between buyer and seller. ArtYard is NOT involved in shipping arrangements and is NOT responsible for:
- Delivery timeframes
- Shipping costs
- Package damage or loss
- Customs fees or import duties
2.3 Transaction Process
- Purchase: Buyer pays through ArtYard
- Contact: Buyer and seller exchange shipping details via in-app messaging
- Arrangement: Seller and buyer agree on shipping method and timeline
- Delivery: Seller ships artwork directly to buyer
- Confirmation: Buyer confirms receipt
- Payment Release: Funds released to seller (after 7 days or upon buyer confirmation)
3. Refunds & Disputes
3.1 Refund Policy
- Refunds available before shipping begins
- Once shipped, refunds are between buyer and seller
- ArtYard can mediate disputes but has no shipping liability
3.2 Dispute Resolution
- Contact support: artyard2025@gmail.com
- Provide order details and evidence
- We review cases within 48-72 hours
- Our decision is final
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 For Sellers (Artists)
- Accurately represent artworks
- Respond promptly to buyer messages
- Package artworks securely
- Provide tracking information when available
- Ship within agreed timeframe
4.2 For Buyers
- Provide accurate shipping address
- Respond to seller's shipping questions
- Agree on shipping method with seller
- Confirm receipt upon delivery
- Inspect artwork promptly after delivery
5. Account Terms
5.1 Eligibility
- Must be 13+ years old to use ArtYard
- Sellers must be college students or verified artists
- One account per person
5.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for your account security
- Don't share your login credentials
- Report suspicious activity immediately
6. Prohibited Activities
- Posting fake or misleading artwork
- Harassment or abusive behavior
- Attempting to bypass payment system
- Fraud or impersonation
- Selling prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances, etc.)
- Spam or excessive self-promotion
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content
- You own your artwork and content
- By posting, you grant ArtYard a license to display it
- You are responsible for copyright compliance
7.2 Copyright Infringement
- Report infringement to: artyard2025@gmail.com
- We will remove infringing content
- Repeat offenders will be banned
8. Limitation of Liability

ArtYard provides a PLATFORM ONLY. We are NOT responsible for:
- Shipping delays, damage, or loss
- Artwork quality or accuracy
- Disputes between buyers and sellers
- Third-party payment processor issues
- Force majeure events
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Our liability is limited to the platform fee paid for a transaction.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violation of these terms
- Fraudulent activity
- Abusive behavior
- Non-payment
- Legal reasons
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Korea. Disputes will be resolved in Seoul courts.
